This specialty 'U' shaped blade sku# M7209 has a 1-1/2" long bent leg that tapers to a point. It's designed for plunging into auto glass sealants specifically where the windshield meets the hood to facilitate your 'do-it-yourself' removal project.
Having a sharpened knife edge front and back, this blade is best suited for slicing the rubbery caulking along the very bottom edge of the windshield. The bent leg of this blade will be guided in along the glass inside surface where it can cut the windshield free from the sealant bed.
WARNING: Please take note: This cutter is only recommended for experienced multi-tool users. Even slightly aggressive cutting of urethane sealants will put extremely high working loads on your multi-tool. Please listen to your machine when using this cutter to avoid motor stalls or total burnout failure.
